fer Cardiopulmonary Resuscita-
tion dasses (CPR) on Wednesday,
Jan. 17 and Tuesday, Jan. 23 at
the synagogue. Both classes will
be taught by instructors certified
by the American Heart Associa-
tion.
Class 1, Jan. 17, 7-10 p.m., is
designed for health care providers
and non-health care providers
who would like to obtain a Heart
Saver Card for one man CPR,
child and infant.
Class 2, Jan. 23, 7-10 p.m., is
designed for non-health care
providers who would like to ob-
tain a child and infant Heart
Saver Card. There is a charge.

ucational lunchtime conference
at Honnigman, Miller, Schwartz
and Cohn on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at
12:15 p.m. Rabbi Avraham Ja-
cobovitz will lead the discussion
following a deli lunch. The pro-
gram will be hosted by Mr. Shel-

Machon L'Torah will offer a
free five-week crash course in ba-
sic Hebrew. This series is the first
of two lead by Jeff Perlstein. It will
be held every Wednesday night
at Machon L'Torah, 15221 W. 10

Machon L'Torah will hold its
first in a series of the 1996 Russ-
ian semester programs, an edu-
cational lecture by Rabbi
Jacobovitz on the topic of "Mak-
ing Lemons into Lemonade." Mr.
Roman Lundin will be translat-
ing the lecture into Russian. The
event will be held at Machon Jan.
