Beau Jack's, It's been open since
1976 and considered the favorite dining
and watering spot by many people. They
are considered like members of the fam-
ily by Gory and dad Jack Cochran, who
owned the Westerner Beef Buffet on the
same site before turning it into the casu-
al Beau Jack's where people know each
other and enjoy the camaraderie of the
restaurant's family-type operation.

a sector of Michigan that has received
notion-wide note, its restaurant, The Steak
Out, is also drawing customer raves.
Chicken Jerusalem is a featured item (bone-
less breast sauteed with mushrooms, ar-
tichokes, white wine and a light cream)
along with homemade soups and fresh
crisp salads. The lender and juicy steaks
are prepared daily. Breakfast is served
6:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.; lunch 11 a.m. - 2
p.m.: dinner 5:30 p.m - 10 p.m. Its high-
ly-qualified catering staff is well versed on
bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, weddings,
etc.

Steve's Deli, 6646 Telegraph Rd. at
Maple, Bloomfield Plaza, 932-0800. It's

in Bloomfield Hills," is indicative of the re-
cently opened delicatessen that has been
receiving much applause. Featured are
the old-time deli pastrami of yesteryears,
hot, steamy corned beef, homemade pas-
tries, Rominik brownies, apple strudel and
seven layer cake. Dining in is amid a com-
fortable, intimate atmosphere, and carry-
out is available of any item on the menu.
Great pride is placed on Steve's tray cater-
ing.
