Aish HaTorah has expanded its
program of informal Jewish
learning opportunities. Home
chavurot meet in private homes
every night of the week in Hunt-
ington Woods, Franklin and West
Bloomfield.Topics include Torah
text study, Mishna, Jewish law,
Maimonides and mysticism.
Lunchtime study sessions are
held at the corporate offices of
Sherman Shoes every Wednes-
day noon and at The Jewish
News offices every Thursday
noon.
In addition, Aish offers a week-
ly fax which deals with the par-
sha of the week. The fax gives an
overview of the parsha, an insight
as well as local Jewish learning
opportunities, candlelighting

Science Views
Trial Verdict

Dr. Werner Spitz, a forensic
pathologist, and Dr. Emanuel
Tanay, a forensic psychiatrist,
will discuss the O.J. trial and
verdict from the perspective of
their scientific disciplines. The
program will be Sunday, Nov. 19,
7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian
Church of Grosse Pointe. It is
sponsored by the Grosse Pointe
Jewish Council.
Donations to the Unitarian
Church Roof Fund are encour-
aged.

B'nai Moshe
Western Night

Congregation B'nai Moshe will
hold a Western Night on Satur-
day, Dec. 2, from 7-11 p.m. at the
synagogue. Join the group for line
dancing, square dancing, a sing-
a-long and refreshments.

Since the late 1950s, the Jewish
Family Service has assisted large
numbers of Holocaust survivors
successfully file claims against
the German government.
In accordance with the Jewish
Family Service's records man-
agement policy, records of de-
ceased clients would normally be
