Kids Koncerts
In Southfield

The Cultural Arts Division of the
city of Southfield will present the
Chautauqua Express on Satur-
day, Nov. 18, at 1:15 p.m. as part
of the Kids Koncerts Series. This
musical extravaganza will take
place at the Southfield Parks and
Recreation building (26000 Ever-
green) in Room 115 and tickets
cost $3.25 per person.
Tickets for groups of 10 or
more are $2.50 and a party room
is available for no charge; reser-
vations must be made in advance
for party rooms.

O'Neill Play
Takes The Stage

Beyond the Horizon by Eugene
O'Neill will open on the Hilber-
ry Theatre stage Nov. 10, and
will run in rotating repertory
through Feb. 8.
Show times are Thursday
through Saturday at 8 p.m. with
selected Wednesday and Satur-
day matinees at 2 p.m. Ticket
prices are $9.50 to $16.50. Group
rates are also available.

Singles Shabbat
At Beth Shalom

Congregation Beth Shalom will
host the Jewish Federation's Sin-
gles Shabbat program at 8:30
p.m., Friday, Nov. 17.
Rabbi David Nelson will con-
duct the service, and Oak Park
native and WJBK-TV 2 News
Director Mort Meisner will dis-
cuss "New Coverage: How the
Decisions are Made."

Singles Plan
Social Action

Adat Shalom Synagogue will
sponsor a social action program
"Strictly for Singles" on Sunday
afternoon, Nov. 19. Co-sponsored
by Hillel of Metro Detroit, the
group will assemble at 1:30 p.m.
at Adat Shalom and then pro-
ceed to the Sarah Fisher Home
where they will take part in or-
ganized activities with the chil-
dren.
The program is open to single
adults of all ages.
