ENTER OUR 1995 CHANUKAH ART CONTEST!

Last year, 10-year-old Noa lacob's winning entry
was displayed on our annual Chanukah cover.
Here's how to enter this year.

'DFITROIT:

TO ENTER: All work must be
received by noon Tuesday, Dec. 5,
at The Jewish News, 27676 Franklin
Road, Southfield, MI 48034. Each
entry must have a completed entry
form permanently attached to the
back. Print the entrant's name on
back of the work itself, as well.
MATERIALS: Anything that shows
up bold and bright, such as crayons,
paint or cut paper. No pencils or light
blue crayons, please. We suggest
taping work on cardboard to protect
it. In order to qualify, an entry form
must be permanently attached to
the back.
SIZE: 12" by 12" square.
CATEGORIES: to age 6

GRAND PRIZE: $100 and have the
work on the 1995 Chanukah issue
cover on Dec. 15 in full color!
FIRST PRIZES: $25 in all age
categories.
HONORABLE MENTIONS: Finalists
in all categories will be featured in
black and white inside the issue.
All entries will be displayed during
Chanukah at the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Jewish Community Center.
An awards party will be held at the
Center for all entrants and their fami-
lies 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17.
Just because Noa lacob is from Ann
Arbor doesn't mean you have to be a
world-famous artist to be on our
cover. So try your hand and enter
soon.
