adult division of the group called

In the summer, Green plays golf
three to four times a week at var-
ious courses. During the winter,
he putts and chips in his home,
and takes a vacation to a warm lo-
cation where he can play outdoors.i
QUOTE: "The aspect of golf I really
like the most is the mental game.
It requires immense concentration
and discipline, especially in league
play," said Green. "Although golf
is an individual sport, I enjoy the
challenge of competing against
others as well as myself."
Junior Division
Korotkin began taking lessons
at Franklin Racquet Club and
then at the Beverly Hills Racquet
Club, where she plays five times
a week in the summer with
Deitch in a special clinic. In the
winter, Korotkin also plays three
times a week at Beverly Hills.
Korotkin played third base for
Seaholm's junior varsity softball
team when she was a freshman
and sophomore. In addition, she
was also a member of Temple
Beth El's youth group.
Korotkin has a 3.7 G.P.A. and
would like to go to the Universi-
ty of Michigan to study business
or communications. She and
Deitch are both considering play-
ing intramural tennis at U-M.
Seaholm's varsity tennis team
plays two or three matches a
week. The girls practice every
day, except Sunday, for about 2Y2
hours.
Although the school's record is
not terrific, Korotkin and Deitch
believe the team is showing
"signs of progress," and its record
will improve.
