In the winter, Korotkin also plays three times a week at Beverly Hills. Korotkin played third base for Seaholm's junior varsity softball team when she was a freshman and sophomore. In addition, she was also a member of Temple Beth El's youth group. Korotkin has a 3.7 G.P.A. and would like to go to the Universi- ty of Michigan to study business or communications. She and Deitch are both considering play- ing intramural tennis at U-M. Seaholm's varsity tennis team plays two or three matches a week. The girls practice every day, except Sunday, for about 2Y2 hours. Although the school's record is not terrific, Korotkin and Deitch believe the team is showing "signs of progress," and its record will improve.
