BLUMA G. BROWN, 96, of
Southfield, died Sept. 13. Mrs.
Brown was the beloved wife of
the late Abraham S. Rubin and
Fred I. Brown, loving mother of
the late Shirley Clark; loving
sister of the late Philip, Sol and
Benjamin Slomovitz, and
Bertha Sloan. Mrs. Brown was a
member of Zionist Organization
of America, B'nai Brith Women
and Hadassah. After her hus-
band Abraham Rubin died in
1947, she continued in his insur-
ance business until age 87. She
