ute chairman for the Yeshiva
Beth Yehudah 81st Annual Din-
ner honoring Judge Avern Cohn.
The dinner will be held Sunday,
Oct. 22, at the Westin Hotel, De-

Mr. Sloan is a past chairman
of the Allied Jewish Campaign,
board member of Sinai Hospital
and is involved in many other
philanthropic causes. He was the
president and founder of Subur-
ban Detroit Theaters and is a
real-estate developer and in-
vestor.
B'nai Moshe
Rummage Sale
The Congregation B'nai Moshe
Sisterhood will have a rummage
sale on Wednesday, Sept. 13, and
Thursday, Sept. 14, at the syna-
gogue
The hours of the sale on
Wednesday will be from 9 a.m.-
7 p.m. and on Thursday from 9
a.m.-2 p.m.
Drop off is Sept. 10, from 9
a.m.-noon and Sept. 11 - 12, from
9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the synagogue.

Kadima Holds
Fund-Raiser
Kadima, an organization for
adults with mental illness, will
hold its annual fund-raiser on
Thursday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m. at
the Atrium of 2000 Town Center
in Southfield.
Kadima Karnival will feature
an evening of music, food, fortune
telling, magic and more.
Tickets are available starting
at $75 per person. The proceeds
will help Kadima continue its
work.
