at Birmingham Seaholm High

The concert committee in-

Cohen, Yitty Gold, Rivki Gor-
don, Sorah Leah Kahan,
Zeisel Lachman, Baila Lands-
man, Nechama Lover, Chu-
mie Schwartz and Zehava
Wolf.
Uncle Moishy's concert, ac-
companied by his famed Mitzvah
Men, included songs about learn-
ing brachot (blessings) and cele-
brating one's Hebrew name. He
also performed his famous,
"HaShem Is Here, HaShem Is
There."

Dr. William Pinsky, vice
president of medical affairs at
the Detroit Medical Center, and
his wife Karen recently were
chairmen of the "Won from the
Heart" benefit for medical

was racing legend Mario
Andretti.
The benefit raised funds for
medical research at three DMC
hospitals — Children's, Detroit
Receiving and Harper.

NOTES

The Physically Friendly Show-
case Home opens its doors to the
public July 12-30. The home was
built with the cooperation of nu-
merous companies who have
participated in creating a show-
case for barrier-free living.
The home was built specifi-
cally for Judi and Gerald
Haynes. Judi is visually im-
paired and paralyzed from the
chest down. She will have the
freedom and accessibility to en-
ter any room in the home. For
more information on the Physi-
cally Friendly Showcase Home,

The Helen Hsu trunk show is
on through July 8 at Roz &
Sherm.
