At Temple Israel

The Last Kleztner, the tale of
Leopold Kozlowski, the last ac-
tive 1-0ezmer trained in the orig-
inal prewar tradition, will be
shown at Temple Israel on Tues-
day, July 11, at S p.m.
The director, Detroiter Yale
Storm, recounts Mr. Kozlowski's
return to his Ukrainian home-
town for the first time since the
war and recounts the memories
of this 71-year-old Polish corn-
poser, pianist, conductor and
Holocaust survivor.
The showing is sponsored by
Temple Israel's Adult Education
Committee; the community is in-
vited free of charge. A discussion
led by Cantor Harold Orbach will
follow the movie.
