Summer Hours

The Teacher's Resource Center
at the Agency for Jewish Edu-
cation will be open throughout
the summer. Hours are Monday
through Thursday from 10 a.m.
until 12:30 p.m. Anybody wish-
ing to use the center in the af-
ternoon must call Raquel
Gershon, (810) 354-1050, to
schedule an appointment. The
center is closed Fridays and from
July 10-21.
Patrons of the Teacher's Re-
source Center may borrow a va-
riety of teaching materials,
including books, curriculum,
posters, art supplies, and au-
dio/visual equipment. The cen-
ter is located at the Agency
for Jewish Education, 21550
W. Twelve Mile Road, South-
field.

Portrayal of Jewish Women in
Film will begin Monday, July 3,
at 12:45 p.m. at the Jimmy
Prentis Morris Jewish Commu-
nity Center. The first film in the
series will be Hester Street and
a discussion will follow. There
is a fee for non-members. Sign
up at the desk or by calling 967-
4030.
The Armchair Traveler Series
will journey to South Africa with
Detroit Jewish Community
leaders Carol Maisels and Au-
drey Sobel. This program
will take place on Thursday,
July 6, at 1 p.m. and is free of
charge.
Ask The Lawyer will take
place Mondays at 1 p.m. Arda
Barenholtz will be available for
free 20-minute legal consulta-
tions in the areas of probate and
family law. This service can be
translated into Russian. Reserve
a time slot in advance at the desk
or by calling 967-4030.
Every Thursday, the Center
Men's Forum meets at 10:30 a.m.
Participation is free of charge.
