DR. HOWARD BERTON
AARON, 55, of Bloomfield

Hills, died June 27. Dr. Aaron
was a consultant for quality
control and strategic planning
in various industries and was
also a public speaker. He was
the owner of Howard B. Aaron
and Associates. Dr. Aaron
earned his Ph.D. in metalurgy
and was a captain in the Army.
He is survived by his wife,
Mary Ellen; son, Steven;
daughters, Eleanor, Nadine,
and also survived by Judy
Aaron. Interment at Beth El
Memorial Park. Memorial con-

RUTH ALTER, 90, of South-

field, died June 24. Mrs. Alter

CHARLOTTE BALDWIN,

95, of Farmington Hills, died
June 21. She is survived by her
sister, Harriet Siegel of South-
field; nieces and nephews, Mau-
reen (Marvin) Gladstone, Alan
(Zaida) Friedman, Joel Fired-
man; great-nieces and great-
nephew; special friend, Ted
Katz. Graveside services were
held at the Hebrew Memorial
Park Cemetery in Mt. Clemens.

SAMUEL BOXMAN, 86, of

Beverly Hills, Michigan, died
June 19. He is survived by his
brother and sister-in-law,
Frank and Norma of West
Bloomfield; sisters-in-law, Mae

MAN, 45, of Livonia, died June

16. Mr. Brandman was tool and
die machinist. He is survived

Turco; father, Maurice Brand-
man; brothers, Steven Brand-
man, Michael and T. Marie
Turco; three step-brothers;

BORIS "BUD" BRONSON,

79, of Farmington Hills, died
June 22. For 10 years, Mr.
Bronson was the co-owner of
the the House of Maple in
Clarkston. During World War
II, Mr. Bronson was a sergeant
in the Army-Air Force and was
in the Western Pacific, South-
ern Philippines, Luzon,
Ryukyus, China Offensive. He
helped drop pamphlets to citi-
zens before the Japan Atomic
Air Offensive. Highly decorat-
ed, Mr. Bronson received a Vic-
tory Medal, American Theater
Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific theater
ribbon with one silver battle
star and two bronze battle
stars, Philippine Liberation rib-
bon, one overseas service bar,
good conduct medal; after 50
years, he received an air medal
for air service. Mr. Bronson was
also a member of Perfection
Lodge F & AM, the Handler
Lodge of B'nai B'rith and the
Furniture Club.
He is survived by his wife of
58 years, Dorothy; son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Richard
and Carol of San Francisco;
daughter and son-in-law, An-
drea and Troy Grogan of West
Bloomfield; daughter-in-law,
Jean McCardle; grandchildren,
Jennifer and Scott Bronson,
Sarah and Angela Grogan;
great-grandchild, Tyler Bisel;
sister, Susan Levin of South-
field. Interment at Beth Moses
Cemetery. Memorial contribu-

ARLINE BURKE, 72, former-

ly of West Bloomfield of Miami,
Fla., died June 26. She enjoyed
successful careers in retailing
and interior design and was a
member of many charitable or-
ganizations in the Miami area.
She is survived by her husband
of 53 years, Harvey; children,
David and Susan, Ellen, Jeffrey
(Ricky) and Charlotte; grand-
children, Danny, Kevin (Bar-
rie), Jodi, Alex, Kelly; brother-
in-law and sister-in-law, Larry
and Ann of West Bloomfield;
sisters, Harriet Howard of
Houston, Charlotte Mann of
San Diego.

BEATRICE EIFER, 85, of

Southfield, died June 21. She
was the beloved sister of the
late Esther "Stella" Horvat. She

is survived by her husband,
Aaron; daughter and son-in-
law, Myrna and Merrill Shap-
ero of West Bloomfield; brother
and sister-in-law, Jack and Ann
Gerson of Canada; sister, Mil-
dred Gerson of Detroit; grand-
children, Alyson Shapero and
Wendy Shapero. Graveside ser-
vices were held at B'nai Israel
Memorial Gardens in Novi.
Contributions may be made to
a charity that specializes in the
arts or aids the elderly.

PEGGY EISMAN, 76, of

Tamarac, Fla., died June 26.
Mrs. Eisman was a beauty shop
executive. She was the beloved
wife of the late Hyman Eisman.
Mrs. Eisman is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law,
Eileen and Norman Cohen of
West Bloomfield, Sandy and
Ronald Sweet of Boca Raton,
Fla.; sons and daughters-in-
law, Harvey and Janis of Flint,
Arnold and Carolyn of Flint;
grandchildren, Wendy, Jacque-
line, Adam, Toni, Robert,
Heath, Julie, Amanda and
Justin; loving companion, Dan-
ny Donsky; sisters and brother-
in-law, Betty and Max Trager
of Las Vegas, Edna Groskind.

DAVID GOLDSTEIN, 87, of
West Bloomfield, died June 22.
Mr. Goldstein was self em-
ployed jeweler and the owner of
Eastern Manufacturers and
Importers. He was the dear
son-in-law of the late Earl Zack
and the loving brother of the
late Benjamin Goldstein. Mr.
Goldstein is survived by his
wife, Esther; daughters and
son-in-law, Penny Zack of West
Bloomfield, Marleen Carol and
Frank Marino of West Bloom-
field; grandchildren, Nina and
Gerry Wroblewski, Lissa Zack,
Jodi Zack and Scott Zack;
great-grandchild, Alex Wrob-
lewski; sister, Muriel Jacobs;
sisters-in-law and brother-in-
law, Rose and Mitchell Kent
