During World War II, Mr. Bronson was a sergeant in the Army-Air Force and was in the Western Pacific, South- ern Philippines, Luzon, Ryukyus, China Offensive. He helped drop pamphlets to citi- zens before the Japan Atomic Air Offensive. Highly decorat- ed, Mr. Bronson received a Vic- tory Medal, American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific theater ribbon with one silver battle star and two bronze battle stars, Philippine Liberation rib- bon, one overseas service bar, good conduct medal; after 50 years, he received an air medal for air service. Mr. Bronson was also a member of Perfection Lodge F & AM, the Handler Lodge of B'nai B'rith and the Furniture Club. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Richard and Carol of San Francisco; daughter and son-in-law, An- drea and Troy Grogan of West Bloomfield; daughter-in-law, Jean McCardle; grandchildren, Jennifer and Scott Bronson, Sarah and Angela Grogan; great-grandchild, Tyler Bisel; sister, Susan Levin of South- field.
