The program, designed for
those who have seen Wendy
Wasserstein's prize-winning
play, is co-sponsored by Barnes
& Noble and the Midrasha Cen-
ter for Adult Jewish Learning. It
will explore various Jewish is-
sues presented in the play, such
as identity, alienation, and as-
similation into the gentile world.
There is no charge, but reser-
vations are a must as seating is

Keshet, an organization for Jew-
ish Families of Children with
special Needs, will host its In-
augural Golf Outing on Thurs-
day, July 13, at the Links of Novi
Golf Course in Novi.
The event includes 18 holes of
golf with cart starting at 11 a.m.,
lunch, complimentary beverages
throughout the day, and cock-
tails and dinner beginning at
5:30 p.m. There will be contests,
door prizes and a raffle drawing
for an all-expenses paid trip for
two to Las Vegas.
All Proceeds from the golf out-
ing will be used to support
Keshet's many programs for fam-
ilies of children with special
needs, which include support ser-
vices, informational speakers,
advocacy, holiday programs and
a newsletter.
There is a charge for the golf
outing, which is tax deductible
according to current tax law reg-
ulations. Non-golfers may attend

The Second Annual White Ele-
phant Sale will be held on Thurs-
day June 22, at noon at the
Jimmy Prentis Morris Jewish
Community Center. This event
is co-sponsored by the Jewish
Federation Apartments and the
Neighborhood Project. Admis-
sion is free.
The Armchair Traveler Series
will begin on Tuesday, June 20,
at 1 p.m. Dottie Wagner will pre-
sent pictures and a video about
her trip to Jewish sites in
Czechoslovakia. This event is
free of charge.

Plans Seminar
B'nai B'rith Accountants Unit
will hold its monthly seminar on
Tuesday, June 20, from 6-8:45
p.m. at the Maple-Drake Jewish
Community Center.
The program will qualify for
two hours of CPE; a deli-tray buf-
fet dinner will be available.

at 12:30 p.m., Elie Wiesel's Great
Figures of the Bible Video Series
will begin with "The Story of
Temptation, Adam and Eve and
Eve and After" narrated by Elie

On Saturday, June 24, at 9
p.m., the Chenille Sisters will
perform at the Center in a coffee
house setting. There will be a
cash coffee and refreshment bar
