Classes Set
Rabbi Steve Greenberg, senior
teaching fellow at CLAL — the
National Jewish Center for
Learning and Leadership, will
lead two text study sessions at
the Midrasha Center for Adult
Jewish Learning on the subject
of "Avodah Kedosha: The Holi-
ness of Work."
"Leadership for the Post-Mod-
ern Era: The Dilemma of Con-
temporary Jewish Life" will be
offered at two times: Thursday,
June 15, from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
(preceded by light lunch at noon)
and Friday, June 16, from 7:30 to
9 a.m. (continental breakfast will
be served). There is a charge.
Adult learners who sign up to-
gether as study partners for a sin-
gle session will get a tuition
discount. Group rates are avail-
able for this and other Midrasha
classes. In addition, Midrasha of-
fers substantial discounts for
Jewish educators and communal
professionals.
Rabbi Greenberg's CLAL
study sessions on "The Holiness
of Work" will be held at the
Midrasha Center for Adult Jew-
ish Learning, located at 21550
West 12 Mile Road in Southfield.

Camp Liberation
Is Recalled
On Sunday, June 11, 1-2:30 p.m.
at the Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center, CHAIIVI Children
of Holocaust-Survivors Associa-
tion in Michigan — will host a
program on the 50th anniversary
of the liberation of Auschwitz.
Michael Traison and Richard
Walawander, who recently trav-
eled to Poland to attend the 50th
anniversary ceremonies held at
Auschwitz, will present a video
and slide presentation of their
journey to the ceremonies
at Auschwitz. There is no
charge.

for the first Legacy Dinner of the
Allied Jewish Campaign Quar-
ter Century Club June 27, at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
Children and grandchildren
age 13 and over will be welcome
to join the festivities for a fee.
