ROSE COLMAN, 83, of
Rochester Hills, died May 22.
Mrs. Colman was a executive
secretary in Detroit. She was
an active volunteer in the com-
munity and in Jewish affairs.
The National Jewish Welfare
Board gave her a certificate in
1947 in recognition of her ser-
vice as a volunteer during
World War II. She was active in
Hadassah, where she was a life
member, and in the National
Council of Jewish Women,
where she held numerous lead-
ership positions. She and her
husband were members of
Temple Beth El.
Mrs. Colman was the beloved
wife of the late Benjamin Col-
man. She is survived by her
sons and daughter-in-law, Dr.
Michael D. and Claire of
Bloomfield Township, Susan E.
of Bethesda, Md.; grandchil-

dren, Mira Jill Coleman,
Joseph S. Patt, Jonathon D.
