Ferndale

Kleerekoper, a Scholars Plus
member, participated in sym-
phony band and was a section
leader for marching band. She
was a member of the varsity girls
swim team and received the
Scholar-Athlete award. She also
participated for four years on the
class board. While studying at
the Agency for Jewish Education,
she received the Tobin Award for
Hebrew Excellence. Sonya plans
a double major in business and
economics at the University of
Michigan.

Kronberger is a member of the
National Honor Society, French
Club, Interact Club, Charity
Days Committee and the AIDS
Awareness Group. She is also an
AIDS peer educator. She plans
to attend Michigan State Uni-
versity and study psychology.

Kuperman will spend a year in
Israel studying for certification
to teach Hebrew and religious
studies. She is Phi Beta Kappa,
a volunteer at Borman Hall, the
Jewish Federation Apartments
and leads a Bnos Agudath Israel
Shabbat youth group. She is an
active member in the drama and
sewing groups.

Lawson is a member of Phi Beta
Kappa and National Honor
Society, a Tandy Scholarship
honorable mention recipient, Int-
ernational Student Film Festi-
val first-place winner, Michigan
Association of Broadcasters first-
place winner, member of An-
dover forensics team, WBFH
radio staff and art and literary
magazine technical editor. He is
on regional board of AZA, inter-
national steering committee and
a Shield of David winner. He will
attend Northwestern or the U-
M's Honors College.

Owen is a member of the Na-
tional Honor Society, Phi Beta
Kappa, varsity gymnastics, Anti-
Defamation League Dream Dia-
logue, past president of the
Temple Emanu-El Temple
Youth and is Interact vice pres-
ident. She is a recipient of the
Sokol scholarship for chemistry
and a U-M Regents-Alumni
Scholarship. She plans to attend
the University of Michigan Hon-
ors College.

Patt is a National Merit Final-
ist, a nominee from the Detroit
section to take the National
Chemistry Olympiad examina-
tion, in the Top 75 in the nation
on the first part of Physics
Olympiad Competition, Michi-
gan Math Prize Competition
semifinalist, Seaholm Quiz Bowl
member and has a NASA fel-
lowship in astrophysics at North-
western. He plans to attend
Northwestern or Cornell.

North Farmington

Kessler is a member of the Na-
tional Honor Society, Phi Beta
Kappa, nominee for Boys' State
and Michigan Summer Institutes,
two-time committee co-chair of
the North American Federation
of Temple Youth's Michigan Re-
gion, Detroit News Outstanding
High School Graduate nominee
in science, recipient of the Pis-
tons/Builders Square and Mason-
Steinhardt-Jacobs scholarships
and participant in the Technion
Institute's summer program. He
plans to attend the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology.

West Bloomfield

West Bloomfield

Lubetsky, Phi Beta Kappa, is a
member of National Honor Soci-
ety, yearbook, Student Council
representative, captain of varsi-
ty track, varsity cross country,
National Merit Commended Stu-
dent, nominated for the U-M Re-
gents-Alumni Scholarship,
National Honor Society scholar-
ship and MHSAA scholar-ath-
lete award in track, and voted
Most Likely to Succeed. She will
attend the University of Michi-
gan.

Menuck is a member of Na-
tional Honor Society, Phi Beta
Kappa, the yearbook staff, var-
sity golf, B'nai B'rith, and a nom-
inee for a U-M Regents-Alumni
Scholarship. She plans to attend
the University of Michigan Hon-
ors College and study computer
science.

Mishal is a member of the Na-
tional Honor Society, Phi Beta
Kappa and participated as a
member of Andover's porn pon
squad. She plans to attend the
University of Michigan and
study pre-medicine.
