Kids Benefit
From Golf Classic

The third annual Golf Classic to
benefit the Jewish Community
Center's "Send a Kid to Camp
Scholarship Program" will be
held Monday, May 22, at Tam-
0-Shanter Country Club in West
Bloomfield.
OmniCare/OmniCare Plus
Health Plans and the JCC are
the major sponsors of the event,
which provides financial assis-
tance for a program that sends
more than 600 children to sum-
mer camp in a Jewish setting
each year.
The Golf Classic will begin at
11:15 a.m. with a buffet lunch.
After a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start
for an 18-hole round of golf, there
will be cocktails, dinner and an
awards ceremony in the evening.
The fee of $200 per golfer in-
cludes meals, drinks, greens fees,
shirts and prizes. An open bar
and other refreshments will be
available throughout the day on
the golf course and in the club-
house.
The price for dinner only is
$60. For information on the Golf

Benefit Concert
In Southfield

The Southfield Symphony Or-
chestra's benefit concert for its
43rd season in 1995-96, Suite Mo-
ments, will feature the talents of
three outstanding women: so-
prano Nancy Elledge, pianist
Ohno and violinist Anna Heleur.
The benefit performance will be
Saturday, June 17, at the South-
field Civic Center Paviolion.
Tickets are S40 for Bronze; $75
for Silver (includes champagne);
and $100 for Gold (includes
champagne, memento and front-
reserved seats). Tickets also are
available for the auction and con-
cert only (not including dinner)
