Kids Benefit
From Golf Classic
The third annual Golf Classic to
benefit the Jewish Community
Center's "Send a Kid to Camp
Scholarship Program" will be
held Monday, May 22, at Tam-
O-Shanter Country Club in West
Bloomfield.
OmniCare/OmniCare Plus
Health Plans and the JCC are
the major sponsors of the event,
which provides financial assis-
tance for a program that sends
more than 600 children to sum-
mer camp in a Jewish setting
each year.
The Golf Classic will begin at
11:15 a.m. with a buffet lunch.
After a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start
for an 18-hole round of golf, there
will be cocktails, dinner and an
awards ceremony in the evening.
The fee of $200 per golfer in-
cludes meals, drinks, greens fees,
shirts and prizes. An open bar
and other refreshments will be
available throughout the day on
the golf course and in the club-
house.
The price for dinner only is
$60. For information on the Golf
Classic, call the Maple-Drake
JCC, (810) 661-2080.
