SHUMAN MOTORS SPECTACULAR
SPRING SERVICE SPECIALS

Beit Kodesh
Memorial Set

Congregation Beit Kodesh will
observe the remembrance of the
Holocaust with the third annual
memorial service 2 p.m. April 30,
at the synagogue. This com-
memorates the 50th anniversary
of the liberation of the concen-
tration camps. The presiding
officer of the event is Phyllis
Lewkowicz. The Yizkor service
will be led by Cantor David Gut-
man.
Martin Lowenberg, a survivor
of the Holocaust will speak, fol-
lowed by a cancllelighting cere-
mony with other survivors
participating. Refreshments will
be served.

Adat Shalom
Plans Observance

Adat Shalom Synagogue mem-
bers will mark Israel Indepen-
dence Day at a congressional
service and dinner on Friday,
May 5. Following a 6 p.m. Kab-
balat Shabbat service, families
will enjoy a traditional Shabbat
dinner.
Synagogue clergy will lead
birkat hamazon, songs and spe-
cial prayers for the occasion.
Cost for the evening is $11 for
adults and $8 for children. Reser-
vations are required. Please send
checks to the synagogue no later
than Monday, May 1.
The Yom Ha'atzmaut evening
is being arranged by the syna-
gogue's Jewish Experiences For
Families Committee of the Adat
Shalom Jewish Family Living In-
stitute. The synagogue's religious
school and nursery school also
will hold special programs.

Men's Club
Plans Service

The men's club of Congregation
B'nai Moshe will hold its annual
Men's Club Shabbat on Saturday,
May 13. Members of the men's
club will lead and participate in
the Saturday morning service
which begins at 9 p.m.
Participants include Mike
Atler, Peter Beer, Bruce Brand,
Harvey Chaffkin, Steve Fine,
David Freedman, Les Goldstein,
Nick Gonte, Alex Greenberger,
Kerry Greenhut, Barry Kauf-
man, Stuart Left, Jonathon Lieb-
man, Steve Rabinovitz, Milt
Resnick, Nathan Roth, Joel
Shayne, Max Sosin, Boris Tobes,

The co-presidents of the men's
