1987, he was the owner of Red
Cedars Restaurant in South-
field, the owner of Freed's $.05
to $5.00, Glen Eagles Bowling
Alley, Apartment Lounge on
McNichols in Detroit. Mr.
Freed was also active with the
Jewish Community Center and
a member of the Paint Creek
Country Club. He was the lov-
ing son of the late Dora and
Joseph Freed and dear son-in-
law of the late Raymond
Bresler.
Mr. Freed is survived by his
wife, Lenore; daughters and
son-in-law, Joni and Ronald
Lipson of West Bloomfield, Bev-
erly of Southfield; son and
daughter-in-law, Larry and
Laini of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren, Zachary and
Ross Lipson, Joshua and
Daniel Freed; mother-in-law,
Rose Bresler; sisters-in-law and

Pairs bridge champions. She be-

instructor on various cruise
ships. She was also a champion
golfer, competed in several bowl-
ing leagues and was a member
of the Polar Bears Club. Mrs.
