National Honor Society student
of West Bloomfield High School,
is a recipient of the Finland - U.S.
Senate Youth Exchange Schol-
arship. She serves as vice presi-
dent of the student government,
has participated in nine theater
productions with her school,
serves on the environmental club
executive board, and participates
in numerous other school and
community-related activities.

ducted into both the Gold Key
and Phi Kappa Phi National
Honor Societies. At a recent
juried art show at U-M, she re-
ceived "Student Choice Award"
for her bronze sculpture and a
first place jewelry award for her
sterling silver creation. At a
recent breakfast at the Hyatt
Hotel in Dearborn, she won both
first and second place in the stu-
dent division of the Annual
Michigan Jewelers Association
Competition.
ELIZABETH SOCOLOW of
Congregation Tchiyah is among
a group of Reconstructionist
artists recently recognized by the
Midwest Region of the Federa-
tion of Reconstructionist Con-
gregations and Havruot. Ms.
Socolow was nominated for recog-
nition of her poetry.
MARLA PINSKY, a senior at
Farmington Harrison High
School, has been invited to par-
ticipate in the Michigan Youth
Arts Festival held on the campus
of Western Michigan University
in Kalamazoo.

STACI KERMAN, of Bloomfield PATRICIA MILGROM of Ann

Hills, a junior at the University
of Michigan, Ann Arbor, became
an Angell Scholar at the U-M
Honors Convocation, for receiv-
ing a 4.0 grade point for three
