berg Concert will feature the pre-
mier musical team of violinist
Pinchas Zukerman and pianist
Marc Neikrug in concert Sunday
evening, April 30, 7:30 p.m. at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
This year, Mr. Zukerman and
Mr. Niekrug are honoring the
20th anniversary of their collab-
oration with a world concert tour,
including special children's con-
certs in addition to the formal
concert in the evening.
The concert is free and open to

Violinist, Pianist
Perform Concert

Ann Crispin is coming to South-
field to speak at the Radisson
Hotel on Sunday, April 23, at
12:15 p.m. Ms. Crispin is the au-
thor of the Star Trek novels Yes-
terday's Son, Time for Yesterday,
The Eyes of the Beholders and
most recently, Serek. She will ap-
pear as part of the city of South-
field's Author's Lecture Series
sponsored by the Cultural Arts
Division.
This month's program is a ben-
efit for the Southfield Public Li-
brary with proceeds from the
book drive going to the library.
In addition to Ms. Crispin's lec-
ture at 12:15 p.m., there will be
opportunities to meet and min-
gle with other Trekkers and sci-
ence-fiction lovers. At 11:30 a.m.
there will be a short program pre-
sented by a not-for-profit Star
Trek Fan Club based on Klin-
gons.
Everyone attending the Au-
thor's Luncheon is asked to bring
any used books, in good condition,
to the program to be donated to
the Southfield Public Library. As
a special incentive, anyone who
brings a book can receive up to
$1 off the price of admission to ei-
ther the lecture or the luncheon.
