University on Wheels, the annu-
al all-day cultural event spon-
sored by Brandeis University
National Women's Committee
Greater Detroit Chapter, will fea-
ture Thomas Doherty, assistant
professor of film studies at Bran-
deis University, and Jim Burn-
stein, screenwriter of the 1994
movie Renaissance Man. The pro-
gram will be presented on
Wednesday, April 5 beginning
at 9:45 a.m. at the floomfield
Township Library, Telegraph
and Lone Pine Roads.
In the morning, Professor Do-
herty will speak about "Music on
Screen: From the Hollywood Mu-
sical to MTV" with an audio/vi-
sual presentation. He will
compare and contrast studio sys-
tem musicals and rock videos.
Professor Doherty is a cultural
historian with a special interest
in Hollywood cinema and has
written several books on movies
and American culture.
In the afternoon, Jim Burn-
stein will discuss 'What It Takes
To Go From Michigan Palywright
to Successful Screenwriter." Pro-
fessor Burnstein is adjunct pro-
fessor of English and humanities
at Northwood University's Self-
ridge Extension Center.
A donation includes a buffet

Zionist Organization of Ameri-
ca's Einstein Luncheon Forum
set for Monday, March 20, at
noon at the Clarion Hotel, 12
Mile and Orchard Lake roads,
Farmington Hills. Dr. Yosef
Goell, Israeli political analyst and
columnist for the Jerusalem Post
will speak on 'The Peace Process:
The Israel-PLO Aspect."
Scholar in residence of the
Michigan Region, American Zion-
ist Movement, Dr. Goell was born
in the United States and made
aliyah to Israel in 1948.
