Margaret
Schwartz was treated to a mud
mask, while Harriet Jacobson
had a foot treatment. Sylvie
Salle, a cosmetologist, spoke of
the qualities of the Dead Sea
minerals and natural contents
found in the Spa Original
products.
Ms. Goosen explained that
cosmetics from the Dead Sea is
not a new concept, citing the
Queen of Sheba and Cleopatra
among the famous who found
healing powers in the Dead Sea's
minerals and salts.
The ORT audience included
Sheri Lisagor, Marcia Rol-
nitsky, Sylvia Bernstein,
Beverly Katz, June Rubin-
stein, Sarah Feuereisen and
Shirley Glicker.
"Support ORT, support Israel,
Buy Spa Original," is the cam-
paign theme, according to ORT
executives Arlene Barris,
Janet Berman and Andi
Wolfe.
ORT is the first and only non-
profit organization in Michigan
to conduct this campaign, which
runs through the end of June.

"Puttin' On The Ritz III," a
preview of spring fashions to ben-
efit the National Kidney Foun-
dation, will be held noon
Saturday, March 18, at the Novi
Hilton.
The Royal Oak Gallery Asso-
ciation will hold their "Third
Thursday" downtown walk be-
ginning at 5 p.m. March 16. This
month's walk will feature "Na-
tive American Arts & Crafts" at
the Andy Sharkey Gallery and
"Recent Works by Jane Lackey"
and a wine tasting at Sybaris
Gallery.
Linda Dresner, of the retail
store Linda Dresner in Birming-
ham and New York, has opened
