The award was established by
the North American Association
of Jewish Homes and Housing for
the Aging (NAJHHA) to recog-
nize and honor young executives
who have demonstrated signifi-
cant potential in the field of long-
term care management.
Ms. Goldsmith, who has been
executive director of JFA since
1991, received her award at the
NAJHHA conference Feb. 26 in
Miami, Fla.
Also at the conference, JFA
was presented NAJHHA's 1995
Outstanding Jewish Program-
ming Award for its "8 Over 80"
program. "8 over 80" honors eight
seniors over age 80 who are cited
for their achievements which em-
body the beliefs and values of the
Chanukah story.
