INFINITI OF FARMINGTON HILLS IS RANKED NUMBER 1
NATIONALLY FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IN SALES & SERVICE
exploring the country he has
learned so much about but has
never seen. He, along with up to
90 others, will participate in a
two-day extension trip to Jordan.
Mr. Chafetz believes the Mir-
acle Mission will connect him
with other Detroit Jews.
"I'll have some shared experi-
ences with people around town,"
he said.
The trip's co-chairmen include
Michael Feldman, Sy Finkelstein,
Linda Klein, Ron Klein and Ben
Rosenthal. Jane Sherman is serv-
ing as Mission executive director
for the second time.
The trip, which is not subsi-
dized, costs $2,495, which covers
all air and land travel, program-
ming and most meals. More than
50 percent of the travelers have
never been to Israel. About 160
individuals signed up for this trip
also went on the first Mission.
The average age of people in
the group is about 55, but two bus
loads of young adults are making
the trip as well.
"The Mission is going to link
people to Israel and help them
understand where they fit into
not only Jewish history, but con-
temporary Israel, too," Mr. tack-
ier said. ❑
