Family Chanukah Crafts

he wondrous holiday of Chanukah
is nearly upon us, filling our homes
with light special prayers and songs,
delicious food and decorations. Now is the
time to prepare. Make the holiday extra
special by making your own decorations,
cards and gift wrap. Rather than buying
these items ready made, put an extra di-
mension into the celebration by gather-
ing your family together to create items
truly from your heart



Chanukah Gelt Wallet

Use: 1 square of paper, or large dinner napkin
1. Precrease as in diagram. Reopen.
2. Fold two corners into center.
3. Fold top point down to meet lower edge.
4. Turn model over to other side. Fold two short sides into center.
5. You will find two pockets at top corners. Fold straight edge up to cover corners.
6. Fit corners of flap into corner pockets which are now hidden under flap. Fold bottom
point up.

You can use this wallet for gift money, calling cards, to give tickets...what else can you think
of to use this wallet for?
(Folded from large dinner napkin this will be the perfect size to hold half a matzah for the
afikomen.)
Stand or point for placecard holder.

Hang-it-up-Dreidel

1 Fold, 2. Fold & open, 3. Cut
4 Fold in direction of arrow,
5. Fold in half short way,
6. Fold in half long way,
7. Hold here, 8. Color side up

Use: 1 new envelope, any size.
1. Close envelope and glue shut. Turn over to address side.
2. Cut where indicated by heavy black lines.

Dreidels are instantly ready to hang on a string.
