Richard Strichartz
Richard Strichartz, 71, former
Detroiter of Tamarac, Fla., died
Nov. 13. Professor Strichartz
served as senior vicce president,
general counsel and secretary
of the Michigan National Cor-
poration and Michigan Nation-
al Bank from 1986-1988. He
also held the position of gener-
al counsel at Wayne State Uni-
versity and was special assis-
tant for public affairs at the
General Motors Corporation.
His involvement in public ser-
vice extended through his posi-
tions as executive director of the
Public Health Statutes Revision
Project, coordinator of a may-
or's development team in De-
troit, city controller for the city
of Detroit and special assistant
to Mayor Jerome Cavanaugh.
Professor Strichartz' teach-
ing career encompassed his po-
sitions as associate professor at
Wayne State University Law
School and director of the Food
Law Institute at the New York
University Law School. His
work was honored by such
awards as the Roy Manty
Award from the Michigan De-
partment of Health, the Rosen-

Southfield, died Nov. 14. She is
survived by her daughter and

JUDY ROBINSON, 56, of
Bloomfield Hills, died Nov. 12.
Mrs. Robinson was a highly re-
garded and honored speech
pathologist in the Royal Oak
school system for 15 years. For
the past 17 years she was a real
estate broker in the Birming-
ham/Bloomfield area. She was
also active in promoting the Uni-
versity of Michigan Cancer Cen-
ter through the sponsorship of a
cancer education forum at her
home.on Wing Lake, the estab-
lishment of an endowment fund
