Professor Strichartz served as senior vicce president, general counsel and secretary of the Michigan National Cor- poration and Michigan Nation- al Bank from 1986-1988. He also held the position of gener- al counsel at Wayne State Uni- versity and was special assis- tant for public affairs at the General Motors Corporation. His involvement in public ser- vice extended through his posi- tions as executive director of the Public Health Statutes Revision Project, coordinator of a may- or's development team in De- troit, city controller for the city of Detroit and special assistant to Mayor Jerome Cavanaugh. Professor Strichartz' teach- ing career encompassed his po- sitions as associate professor at Wayne State University Law School and director of the Food Law Institute at the New York University Law School.
