Journalist Talks
At Bonds Event

Robert Mayer Evans, broadcast
journalist, will be the guest
speaker at a breakfast on behalf
of State of Israel Bonds to be held
Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. at Congrega-
tion of Moses, located at 2501 Sta-
dium Drive, Kalamazoo.
Mr. Evans began his career in
journalism by working for the
late Edward R. Murrow at CBS
News. He served as the CBS
News Television and radio cor-
respondent in Moscow and the
CBS News bureau chief covering
the USSR across Siberia and the
broder with China.
In Israel, he has met every Is-
raeli prime minister for the last
quarter century. He has been a
frequent guest of the government
and has interviewed many promi-
nent officials. Mr. Evans has also
participated in a symposium on
Israel military security.
There is a charge for the break-
