members Nov. 20 from 11 a.m.-
12:30 p.m. at the synagogue.

The Cultural Commission of
Congregation Beth Achim will
host the first in the Supper Se-
ries Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. at the home
of Shelly and Eugene Perlman.
This series is designed to get
acquainted over dinner followed
by an informal study session led
by Rabbi Herbert Yoskowitz. The
topic for the fist session is "Song
of Songs, Love and Sexuality in
the Jewish Tradition."
There is a charge for this se-
. ries and it is limited to the first

Family Camp
For Chanukah
Congregation B'nai Moshe will
present "The Circle of Life" — a
unique Shabbat Chanukah fam-
ily camp experience at Butzel
Conference Center from Dec. 2-
4. The weekend includes two
nights lodging with private bath,
bedding and towels, kosher
meals and Jewish family pro-
gramming.

The Reform and Conservative Congregations of the Metropoli-
tan Detroit area are proud to announce the 1994-95 series of
monthly Shabbat Services for Jewish Singles. if you are a single
Jew in the Detroit community, please join us for Shabbat Ser-
vices. Services begin on Friday evenings at 8:30 p.m. and are
followed by an Oneg Shabbat, featuring a speaker and program.

Rabbi Yoskowitz, a graduate of The Jewish Theological Seminary of
America, has taught Holocaust and Genocide Studies and Bio-ethics
at the University of Hamline in St. Paul, Minnesota. He will present a
lecture at St. John's University on Jewish Bio-ethics in March, 1995
and has been designated as a national leader in bio-ethics by the
Bush Foundation.
