"LUSHLY BEAUTIFUL...
Full of visual surprises. The film is artfully unpredictable,
suffused with physical warmth and a dreamlike, inviting glow."
-Janet Maslin, THE NEW YORK TIMES

Lyrical...At once hectic and sultry, gritty and abstract.
It has the millennial feel of a century's end."

Women special gifts lun-
cheon recently honored
brothers Howard and
Steven Tapper. More than 250
patrons attended the event at
Congregation B'nai Moshe. Dr.
Mark Smiley, headmaster of
Hillel Day School, gave the invo-

in the Bible and how some got
along and others did not. About
the community. Their special gift
to B'nai B'rith will enable emo-
tionally disadvantaged children
at the BBW Residential Treat-
ment Center in Israel to have a
playground with playground
equipment.
The Tapper brothers both ad-
dressed the audience. At one
point Steven turned to his broth-
er and said, "Without my broth-
er, I don't think I would be where
I am today and I take
tremendous pride in your
accomplishments."

members and friends were
in the audience including

heart is the word Tapper's," she
said, referring to the fact that the
brothers own a jewelry store.
