Dance Shows
At Macomb
Macomb Center for the Perform-
ing Arts will present a diverse se-
lection of dance programs during
the 1994-95 season. The dance
season will begin with Red Star
Red Army at 8 p.m. Oct. 22. Fea-
turing 1209 singers, dancers and
musicians on a tribute to a new
Russia.
Royal Winnipeg Ballet, pre-
sented by Audi, will return to the
Macomb Center stage at 8 p.m.
Nov. 15 and 16. Lucnica! the Slo-
vak Dance Ensemble will appear
at 8 p.m. Nov. 18. Ballet Theatre
De Bordeaus, celebrating its
North American debut, will pre-
sent "Vivaldi's Four Seasons" at
7 p.m. Feb. 12.
The Velveteen Rabbit, a fami-
ly production, will be presented
by ODC/San Francisco and spon-
sored by Target Stores, at 10 a.m.
and 8 p.m. March 17. Festival of
the Nile will feature native
Egyptian performers at 3 p.m.
March 19. Hubbard Street Dance
Chicago will feature Twyla
Tharp's runaway hit "Nine Sina-
tra Songs" at 8 p.m. March 24.
