TIMMY

The Waldmans also are
pleased that their musical has
brought them new friends.
"All of our older neighbors in
our building have come to see the
show, and they hang around us
like crazy," he said. "We've heard
stories from them that we've ac-
tually put in the show."
When the Waldmans are in
Michigan, they will have a large
Toledo crowd in their audience.
Her relatives are based there, and
they will be coming to see the pro-
duction.
"We've had pretty large audi-
ences of non-Jews in certain
places," Mr. Waldman said.
"Paved With Gold really can be
enjoyed by anyone. Although the
songs have a Jewish flavor and
there's a lot of Yiddish, the expe-
riences were basically the same
for immigrants of all back-
grounds."

The program is set for Nov. 3
at 7:30 at the synagogue. There
is no charge.
