semester for the Russian 'out-
reach division program Oct. 30
at 7:30 with an educational lec-
ture by Rabbi Jacobovitz on "Life
After Life - A Jewish Perspec-
tive."
Mr. Roman Lundin will trans-
late the lecture into Russian si-
multaneously. The event will be
held at Machon L'Torah, 15221
W. Ten Mile Rd., Oak Park. Re-
freshments will be served. There
is no charge.

two new classes for adult learn-
ers to achieve reading compre-
hension of Hebrew prayers. Total
Beginner Hebrew Reading,
taught by Susie Cook, meets
Thursday nights from 7:30 to
9:30 p.m. Advanced Beginner
Hebrew Reading, taught by
Ronit Goutkovitch, meets
Wednesday nights from 7:30
to 9:30 p.m. at the Agency for
Jewish Education building.
There is a tuition charge and
book fee.
Midrasha is also offering a va-
riety of Hebrew conversation

tion," while not a professionally
run group, will be facilitated by

who formed a similar group in
