Slates Programs
Macomb Center's children's se-
ries "Sunshine Saturdays" will
begin with a performance of Laz-
er Vaudeville 3:30 p.m. Sept. 24
at Macomb Center for the Per-
forming Arts.
Lazer Vaudeville is a modern
show for the entire family. The
show features magic, lasers, jug-
gling, comedy, acrobatics, special
effects, audience participation,
and blacklight rope spinning.
Other shows in the series are
Dinosaur Mountain, Oct. 29; Lit-
tle Red Riding Hood, Jan. 21; Pip-
pi Longstocking, Feb. 25; Peter
Rabbit, March 11; Chinese Gold-
en Dragon Acrobats, April 29.
The performances are approxi-
mately 60 minutes in length.
"The Great Radio City Music
Hall Spectacular," a tour featur-
ing the world famous Rockettes
and actress/singer Susan Anton,
will come to Macomb Center for
the Performing Arts at 3 and 7
p.m., Oct. 2.
The Secret Garden, the new
Broadway musical that captured
three 1991 Tony Awards, will be
presented at 8 p.m. Oct. 7 and 8
at Macomb Center for the Per-
forming Arts.
The Newport Jazz Festival On
Tour will celebrate its 40th an-
niversary at 7 p.m. Oct. 9 at Ma-
comb Center for the Performing
Arts.
