Dr. Jeffrey Weinfeld of West
Bloomfield recently received a
fellowship from the Academy of
General Dentistry. The honor is
given to practitioners of gener-
al dentistry who have success-
fully completed a written
examination and stringent cur-
riculum of continuing education.
A graduate of the University of
Michigan School of Dentistry, Dr.
Weinfeld is past president of Al-
pha Omega Dental Fraternity,
Detroit Alumni Chapter. He also
is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard
Academy Honorary Dental Soci-
ety and is active in many local
dental organizations, including
the American Dental Associa-
tion. He currently serves as a
member of the Michigan Dental
Association Peer Review Com-
mittee.

Dr. Robert Wolfe

Dr. Robert Wolfe, medical di-
rector of Oakland General Hos-
pital, has been appointed a
trustee of St. John Health Sys-
tern. His appointment follows the
recent affiliation between Oak-
land General Health Systems
and St. John Health System. Dr.
Wolfe's professional career at
OGH spans 29 years. He was
chief of staff from 1978 to 1980,
and has presided as medical di-
rector since 1984. He also has
served as associate medical di-
rector and director of medical
staff affairs. In addition, Dr.
Wolfe served as secretary of the
board of directors of Oakland
General Health Systems. Dr.
Wolfe graduated from the Col-
lege of Osteopathic Medicine and
Surgery in Chicago in 1964. He
is a distinguished fellow of the
American College of Medical
Quality and a fellow of the Amer-
ican Board of Quality Assura nce
