LESTER MORRIS has received

an Endowment Achievement
Award of the Council of Jewish
Federations. The award is giv-
en annually to those who have
played a major role in the suc-
cessful growth of their Federa-
tion's endowment funds.
Mr. Morris has been vice chair-
man of the Federated Endow-
ment Fund of the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan De-
troit for four years of substantial
growth in new endowments and
activity. He is president of the
Meyer and Anna Prentis-Morris-
Wagner Supporting Foundation,
which was instrumental in rais-
ing funds for the recent renova-
tion of the Jewish Community
Center's Jimmy Prentis Morris
Building in Oak Park.

be working on endowments with
Federation and its constituent
agencies.
Mr. Lowe previously was as-
sistant dean for law school rela-
tions at the University of
Michigan Law School, where he
began the school's capital cam-
paign in the Midwest. He also
managed the school fund for sev-
en years, developing new pro-
grams which nearly doubled
annual contributions.
