ABBAKA DACOR THERMADOR MONOGRAM

Hearing Aid Specialist

HEARING SMALL TALK AMIDST BIG NOISE

One of the hearing problems commonly
associated with mild to moderate sen-
sorineural hearing loss is difficulty hearing
faint sounds, while loud sounds come
through all too well. This problem can best
be exemplified by the difficulty one encoun-
ters in making out intimate conversation
in a room full of background noise, such
as at a cocktail party. Since 1990, a new type
of hearing instrument technology has been
introduced to deal with this problem. K-AMP
circuitry enables hearing instruments to au-
tomatically adjust to hearing situations so
that quiet sounds are amplified, with little or
no distortion of intense sounds. This tech-
nology has been hailed by some as one of
the most significant advances in hearing in-
strument technology in over 20 years.

K-AMP circuitry is only one of the many
exciting developments in the field of hearing
aid technology. LUCAS-CRUZ HEARING AID
SERVICE, located at 18899 W. 12 Mile Rd.
in Lathrop Village (424-8450), is here to help.
We have devoted our professional careers to
helping the hearing impaired experience
more of the wonderful sounds this world has
to offer! We make it a point to keep up with
all the latest innovations in order to best serve
you. Hearing loss affects one out of every ten
persons in all societies. If you suspect that
you may be among them, you owe it to your-
self to come in for a quick, painless hearing
test. We offer a 30-day trial on all aids.
P.S. Hearing instrument users should
have their instruments retested at least every
three years, if not sooner.
