Machon L'Torah, the Jewish
Learning Netowork of Michigan,
will honor Dr. Milton and Lois
Shiffman with the Jewish Conti-
nuity Award at Machon's annu-
al banquet June 1 at the Plaza
Hotel in Southfield. It will mark
Machon's 14th anniversary.
The award will be presented
to the Shiffmans for their dedi-
cation, involvement, and concern
on behalf of Jewish education.
Their recent grant towards Ma-
chon L'Torah's new Jewish Re-
source Center in Ann Arbor
pioneered the lauching of a cam-
paign to realize the plans of this
vital project. The facility's lecture
hall will be dedicated in honor of
Dr. Milton and Lois Shiffman.
