Kaplan-Weissman
Meredith Hope Weissman and
David Benjamin Kaplan were re-
cently married at the Ritz Carl-
ton Hotel. Rabbi Richard C.
Hertz officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Dr. Martin and Linda Weissman
of Birmingham. The groom is the
son of Neil and Arlene Kaplan. of
Skokie, 111.
The bride's sister, Paige Weiss-
man, was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Julie May,
Gwen Rogers, Andrea Shagrin,
Sarah Woodworth, Leslie Cohen,
Jennifer Rothenberg, Laura
Weissman, Denise Kaplan and
Lauren Jacobs. The flower girl
was Leslie Schapira.
The groom's brother, Joel Ka-
plan, was the best man. Grooms-
men were David Weissman,
brother of the bride; Michael
Brady; Steven Seneker; Keith
Wenner; Jeffrey Freedman; Kim
Greenwood; Steven Mesirow;
Todd Moody and Russell Pillar.
Also participating in the cer-
emony were the bride's grand-
mother, Belle Weissman; the
bride's grandfather, Dr. Herbert
Bloom and his wife, Judge Alice
Gilbert; and the groom's grand-
mother, Fay Lasine.
Following a honeymoon in
Australia and Hawaii, Meredith
and David are residing in Los An-
geles.

brating their 50th wedding an-
niversary. They plan a trip to
Israel to visit with their son Stan-
ley and his family. While there
they also will celebrate their
grandson Yaniv's bar mitzvah.
Their other son, Corey, lives in
Chicago with his wife and two
children.
