The League of Jewish Women's
Organizations will hold its An-
nual Installation Meeting and
Program at 12:30 p.m. May 18 at
Temple Beth El. Marian Shif-
man, past president of the
League, will be the installing of-
ficer.
Evelyn Noveck will be installed
as president. Ms. Noveck has
been president of the council of
Greater Detroit - Na'amat and
the Jewish Historical Society. She
organized Yiddish classes for
Hadassah and has served as an
officer of Business and Profes-
sional Chapter of Women's Amer-
ican ORT, Histradut, and Labor
Zionist Institute.
Installed as vice presidents will
be Joanne Zuroff, Hannah Moss,
Beverly Canvasser Perlina
Bodzin and Sherrie Stern. Trea-
surer will be Rita Weston; secre-
taries, Ruth yost, Betty Rath,
Shirley Schlussel, Dorothy
Tendler, Judie Moss, Ida Nathan;
adviser, Cahrlotte Edelheit.
A musical program featuring
Naomi Gurt will follow the in-
stallation. Ms. Gurt is in the pro-
fessional studies program at the
Cleveland Institute of Music. She
is the exclusive soprano soloist
with the Detoit-based Dodworth
Saxhorn Band.

Annual Luncheon

Marci Shulman, vocalist,will pre-
sent Broadway melodies along
with Israeli and Yiddish songs at
the 58th B'nai David Sisterhood
Luncheon May 23. Lunch will be
served at noon. Ms. Shulman will
be accompanied by pianist Zena
Shaykhet.
The luncheon will be preceded
by boutique shopping and cham-
pagne cocktails at 11 a.m.
