Metro Hillel
Art Display

Hillel of Metro Detroit calls on all
artists to submit their framed art-
work to be displayed in the Hil-
lel Gallery. This is an opportunity

ME Enlists
New Task Force

The Agency for Jewish Education
School Services Department has
established the ME Special Ed-
ucation Task Force, composed of
parents, teachers and specialists,
to explore ways in which the ME
can assist children with special
needs.
The task force is chaired by
James Safran. Joan Lessen Fire-
stone, Peggy Frank, Ronelle Gri-
er, Carol Kaczander, Sharon
Levine, Henry Lonnerstater,
Judy Miller, Anita Naftaly, Don-
na Pearlman, Essie Stillman,
ME Director of School Services,
Shawn Locke and AJE Special
Education Coordinator, Bayla
Landsman make up the task
force.
The first meeting will be at the
Agency for Jewish Education
building May 10 at 7 p.m. Find-
ings from the meeting will be uti-
lized in the development of
programming by the AJE for the
1995-1996 school year.
