Singles Tours
Of Israel

The American Zionist Youth
Foundation's Israel Program
Center will offer two ventures for
the summer of 1994: the Young
Singles Israel Programs. Two
tours of Israel, geared toward 25-
30 year olds, are in the planning.
The first will take place from
June 14-28; the second program
is scheduled for August 8-22.
The programs will introduce
participants to the beauty and di-
versity of Israel. The groups will
travel through the Negev and up
to the Galilee, visiting historical
sites, major cities and nature pre-
serves.
They will take part in educa-
tional seminars that have a Jew-
ish focus, as well as socializing
among themselves and spending
time with Israelis their own age.
Some unique features are an
overnight visit to a Bedouin en-
campment and a Shabbat at the
beach front of Achziv.
AZYF publishes, annually, the
Complete Guide to Israel Pro-
grams, the most comprehensive
listing of Israel youth programs
in existence, recently, the orga-
nization has made this data
available via a computerized
diskette that is both IBM and
Macintosh compatible.
Those interested in the Young
Singles Israel Program should
call AZYF, 212-339-6916; or 1-
800-27-ISRAEL.
