General Store at Greenfield Vil-
lage has reopened as the J.R.
Jones General Store. The build-
ing had been closed since Janu-
ary 1992 for conservation work
and research.
James R. Jones owned the
store, located in Waterford, from
1882-1888. The store appears
like it would have in 1886, when
Mr. Jones had the only operating
