Jerome Helfman
Jerome Helfman, 75, of Oak
Park, died April 16. He was the
former owner of Signal Build-
ing Company in Southfield
which was started in the 19605.
He retired in 1987. He was the
only three-term president of
Henry Morgenthau Lodge of
B'nai B'rith and was a volun-
teer for JARC as a driver. He
also was active with the Lions
and Kiwanis clubs.
He leaves his wife, Isadora;
son and daughter-in-law, Den-
nis and Alyce of Montvale, N.J.;
daughters and sons-in-law, Lin-
da and Allen Warner of Farm-
ington Hills; Noreen and Alan
Klein of Farmington Hills;

University School of Osteopathy
in 1986 and did his residency at
Emory University. He was a
physiatrist at Botsford Hospi-
tal specializing in physical med-
icine.
