has been
named ad-
ministrator of the Teitel Feder-
ation Apartments.
Joyce Bichler, who served as
JFA's coordinator of a major
grant service grant program,
takes over as program admin-
istrator.
Ms. Feldman has held vari-
ous administrative positions at
JFA since she was first em-
ployed by JFA in 1991. She was
marketing coordinator during
the period leading to the open-
ing of the Hechtman II Feder-
ation Apartments in West
Bloomfield in 1972. As program
administrator, Ms.Feldman de-
veloped new programs that help
residents with their trans-
portation and housekeeping
needs.
Joyce Bich-
ler has work-
ed in the field
of gerontology
for the past
13 years. She
came to JFA
last fall from
Cleveland Bichler
where she
was program director for the
Alzheimer Association-Cleve-
land Chapter. At JFA, she has
coordinated the Congregate
Housing Services Program, a
HUD sponsored program that
assists residents in their daily
needs. Ms. Bichler earned her
master's degree in social work
from the University of Michi-
gan.

Plans Classes
Temple Emanu-El Yeshivat
Kallah/Academy for Adults will
offer a course exploring Jewish
mysticism. Enrollment is now
being accepted for "The Kab-
balah: An Introduction To Jew-
ish Mysticism" taught by Rabbi
Herschel Finman.
The class will meet Monday
evenings from 7-8 p.m. April 11,
18, 25, May 2, 9. There is a tu-
ition fee for this class.
"Will Our Children, Grand-
children And Great-Grandchil-
dren Be Jewish?" will be taught
by Rabbi Lane Steinger on
Monday evenings from 7-8 p.m.

is foryou!
A 25 session educational experience open to children
5 -16 years old of interfaith families whose parents desire
to give them an opportunity to learn more about their
Jewish heritage.
The STEPPING STONES program starts September 25,
at Temple Israel, 5725 Walnut Lake, W. Bloomfield, MI
48322 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
TUITION IS FREE.
