Volunteers Plan
Spring Events

The Volunteer Network of the
Jewish Federation Business
and Professional Women/
Women's Division has sched-
uled several opportunities this
spring for volunteers to assist
human service agencies in the
metropolitan Detroit area.
Volunteers will read and per-
form poetry and literature with
residents of the Fleischman
Residence 2-4 p.m. April 17.
Participants should meet at the
building at 1:45 p.m.
On April 24, the volunteers
will assist and participate in
outdoor games and relays with
young boys at the Sarah Fish-
er Home. The care faCility for
children is located at 27400 W.
Twelve Mile Rd. in Farmington
Hill
' s.
The Volunteer Network will
assist with "Even in the Best of
Families," a community-wide
forum about AIDS. Volunteers
will assist with registration,
serve refreshments and partic-
ipate in educational workshops.
Participants will meet 7-9 p.m.
April 27 at the Jewish Com-
munity Center, Maple/Drake
Building.

Workmen's Circle
Yiddish Class

The Workmen's Circle/Arbeter
Ring will offer "The Workmen's
Circle/Arbeter Ring Yiddish
Language Experience." The
teacher will be Alva Dworkin.
The class will run for 10 ses-
sions, Wednesdays, from 7-8:30
p.m. at the Workmen's Circle
Educational Center, 26341
